Offense:
penalties in red mean that if you commit this foul you must either take a delay of game call or punt the ball the next play, whichever your opponent chooses for you to do
Mix Up Your Plays - Yes I know some plays work better than others, but I do not want to see the same plays being ran over and over. You have over 200 plays in the playbook, mix it up a little. For Example, WR Screens work, we all know that, however I do not want them to be ran like crazy and just on plays that you need a 1st down. That will not be tolerated. Also, I do not want to see deep balls all game. Mix it up, throw slants and other types of passes other than deep balls everyplay. I understand that deep balls are part of the game, but not everyplay. Playactions especially, run them as infrequently as possible.
Substitutions - under no circumstance can a HB with greater than 88 speed be your primary FB
Share the Ball - If you've got a guy getting half your catches or more, that's just unrealistic people, come on.
QB Play - We all know how much running QBs are apart of the game, so i won't take this away from you, but guys i dont wanna see you rolling out every play, taking off immediately, that's just not very realistic
Audibles - They areapart of the game, however, one audible per play is enough. I don't want to see someone audibling over and over on a play. I also don't want to see this done everyplay. Once again ya'll know how to play SIM so I shouldn't have to put all this.
Goaline - Goaline formation may only be ran in goaline situations (1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th and goal). OR if its extremely short yardage, 1 yard or less
Clock Management - Plain and simple, just don't run down the play clock all game
No Huddle Offense - This may only be ran when there is 2:00 minutes or less in the 2nd or 4th quarter. It may also be used if you are down 21 or more in the 4th quarter. I never under any circumstance want to see no huddle after an incompletion, if you do it on accident, call a timeout.
Options - Options are a major part of college football, however, this shouldn't be your main running play, again, switch it up
Running up the score - Just don't do it, I'm not gonna tell you like little babies what you can and can't do, we all know better
Fake FGs and Punts - are only allowed once per game, but never when youre winning, only when losing or tied
The biggy:
4th downs: You may go for it on 4th down only in these situations:
A) you are across your opponent's 40 yard line and it is 4th and 1 or shorter
B) you are down by at least 14 points in the 3rd or 4th quarter and across midfield
C) You are down 3 posssesions (17 or 21 points) or more in the 4th quarter, anywhere on the field
D) you may go for it on 4th and goal unless winning in the 4th quarter
E) Each Game each coach will get what i call, the gamble, the gamble means that ONLY ONCE in a game, may a coach go for it on 4th down outside of these rules UNLESS THEYRE WINNING IN THE 4TH QUARTER
Defense:
Blitzing - I don't want to see a person blitzing every play, nor sending the same player each time.
Goaline Defense - This, like offense, can only be ran on goaline situations (1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th and goal) OR if its extremely short yardage, 1 yard or less
Defensive Line - Pinching your line every play is not allowed. Only pinch your line when it is necessary (Ex: 3rd and 1). There is no reason why any one should pinch there line on 1st and ten/3rd and 20 ect. Also, Crashing your line while your line is pinched is NOT ALLOWED. I cannot stress this enough, that is a cheap way to pick up a sack where the QB has only a split second to do anything.
Moving players - if you move a player, you MUST control that player, thus meaning you may only move one player. you MAY NOT, under ANY circumstance, move ANY Defensive Lineman manually, use your line shifts
